Mobilink was a business trademark of Pakistan Mobile Communications Limited (PMCL), a versatile administrator in Pakistan giving a scope of paid ahead of time and postpaid voice and information media transmission administrations to both individual and corporate supporters. Its administrative center is in Islamabad, and the current President and CEO is Aamir Ibrahim. The system professes to have been the first GSM-based portable administrator in South Asia.
Some time ago known as Mobilink, the organization was established in 1994 as a joint endeavor between Saif Group and Motorola Inc. In February 2001, Egypt based Orascom Telecom Holding purchased Motorola’s offers in Mobilink to turn into the larger part investor with 69% control. In November 2015, Mobilink declared its merger with Warid Pakistan, the merger was finished in July 2016 and the organizations were going to get ready for reconciliation and converging into a solitary brand later on.
